1. Services Description
Crystal City Appliance Repair ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides residential and commercial appliance repair services including but not limited to refrigerator repair, washer and dryer repair, dishwasher repair, oven and stove repair, range repair, freezer repair, and emergency same-day appliance repair throughout Houston, TX and surrounding Harris County communities.
2. Service Area
Our primary service area includes Houston, TX and the surrounding Harris County area, with a focus on the Montrose district, Midtown, River Oaks, Museum District, Upper Kirby, Heights, Medical Center, West University, Bellaire, Greenway Plaza, and nearby neighborhoods. Service availability outside this area is at our discretion and may involve additional charges.
3. Estimates and Pricing
We provide transparent, flat-rate diagnostic estimates before any repair work begins. All estimates are provided in writing and subject to your approval before work commences. The final invoice may differ from the initial estimate if the scope of repair changes upon diagnosis or if additional parts or labor are required, in which case we will notify you before proceeding. Diagnostic fees may apply and will be disclosed before the service call.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, and other payment methods as posted at the time of service. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may accrue late fees of 1.5% per month. For commercial accounts, billing terms will be established separately in writing.
5. Workmanship Warranty and Manufacturer Pass-Through
Parts Warranty: All parts installed by Crystal City Appliance Repair are covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, which we pass through to you. Manufacturer warranty terms vary by part and brand.
Labor Warranty: We provide a 90-day labor warranty on all completed repairs. If the same issue recurs within 90 days of the original repair date, we will return to diagnose and repair the issue at no additional labor charge, subject to parts availability and excluding damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unrelated conditions.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask that you notify us at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover technician travel costs. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to technician availability, equipment requirements, or other operational needs, and will provide as much advance notice as possible.
7. Communication Consent
By providing your phone number or email address, you consent to receive communications from Crystal City Appliance Repair regarding your service appointment, follow-ups, and related service information. Standard message and data rates may apply for text messages. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. To opt out of email communications, follow the unsubscribe instructions in any email we send.
8. Limitation of Liability
Crystal City Appliance Repair is not liable for pre-existing conditions, cosmetic damage unrelated to our work, appliances deemed beyond economical repair, or consequential damages including food spoilage or lost productivity. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service at issue. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
